Master of Arts in Teaching (M.A.T.) Application

All candidates must apply for admission to the University of Arkansas at Monticello in the OFFICE OF ADMISSIONS and complete an application for the School of Education.
GRADUATE PROGRAM. Individuals applying to the M.A.T. program must provide the following to the School of Education Graduate Coordinator:
- Bachelor of Arts or a Bachelor of Science degree from a regionally accredited college or university and verified with official transcripts from each college/university attended;
- Successful criminal background check;
- Passing scores on the appropriate PRAXIS II Specialty area examination for which licensure is sought; ( see http://www.ets.org/praxis/ar/requirements for required Scores);
- Evidence of a minimum GPA of 2.7 overall or 3.0 for the last 60 Credit hours of coursework.
