Please review the following prompts. Select ONE prompt to answer. Craft a thoughtful, well-written, 250-500 word essay on the topic.
1. What is a text (such as a book, film, image, game, song, etc.) that has had an impact on you? How did it influence you?
2. What is a problem or issue in the world that you are concerned about? Why do you feel it is important?
3. A catastrophe has befallen humanity. It doesn't matter whether it is a nuclear war, a giant flood, or a zombie apocalypse. You are among the lucky few in possession of the last life raft on Earth. You need to set sail for a new place in which to relaunch civilization. There is one seat left on the life raft, and you must choose a professor from only one subject to take with you. Which subject would you choose and why? Please justify your answer based on the subject/discipline (not the personality of the professor).
