University/Airport Transportation Service:
As a courtesy to our international and exchange students, free transportation is provided to and from the Birmingham International Airport and the University of Montevallo through Montevallo Friendship Partners and their approved volunteers. At the beginning and end of each semester, students must submit the form below at least ten (10) business days before the service is needed. An email confirmation will be sent to the student once their request has been fulfilled from made@montevallo.edu. Details on the students specific pick-up/drop off will be determined and shared with the approved volunteer on a case-by-case basis to be included with the email confirmation. Any special instructions from the student receiving the service needs to be included in their request.
Scheduling Timeframe:
In booking your outgoing/incoming flights, please note that the pick-up/drop off window is limited to the hours between 8am and 8pm.

Students wishing to book flights outside of the above guidelines are encouraged to contact one of the following services instead to fulfill their transportation needs:

Flight Delays or Changes in Flight Itineraries:
The student is responsible for communicating any flight delays or itinerary changes to the staff member who has confirmed pickup as soon as that information becomes available. This ensures that pick up/drop off can occur in a timely fashion.
Cancellation/Change of Service:
If you have already submitted a request, but no longer need transportation or need to make changes to your request, please contact the M.A.D.E. Office at 205.665.6219 or made@montevallo.edu to formally cancel the request. Cancellation of the service without 72 hours (three days) of prior notification or acting as a “no-show” will result in you being barred from receiving future transportation service via this form.
