Yavapai College Honors

Yavapai College Honors, provides students with a GPA of 3.25 or greater a chance for financial support, academic excellence and leadership opportunities with the support of dedicated faculty.

Program highlights include access to merit-based scholarships (1 class - up to $375 per semester), mentorship, career workshops, cultural and travel opportunities, access to research projects, group fellowship, service, leadership and honors designation at graduation.

Program requirements:

Students must maintain a minimum cumulative GPA of 3.25 throughout their enrollment in the honors program.
Students must enroll and complete at least one face-to-face honors class each semester. All Honors Courses currently meet in person.
Students enrolled in 6 or more credits are eligible for a scholarship that covers the cost of one 3 credit class.
Students will participate in 2 honors activities each semester.
Students are required to attend and actively participate in all mandatory honors workshops organized by the honors program.
