SOC Operations Analyst I (SOCOA I) Certification Application

The BCR Cyber SOC Operations Analyst I (SOCOA I) Training & Certification program is a comprehensive, hands-on training designed to replicate the operational demands of a real-world Security Operations Center (SOC). SOCOA I is an Industry Recognized Credential (IRC) and prepares learners for entry-level positions in Security Operations Centers (SOCs). This training and certification includes:

40 hours of asynchronous training
8 hours of hands-on exercises on the BCR Cyber Series 3000 Cyber Range
Concludes with a certification exam to measure technical and operational proficiency

Eligibility Requirements

Must be enrolled at Prince George’s Community College
Must have or be seeking an Associate Degree in IT/Cyber OR have two out of the

following three certifications: CompTIA A+, CompTIA Network+, CompTIA Security+

Must be looking for employment in IT/Cybersecurity
Must be a U.S. citizen
Must be domiciled in Maryland
Must have no criminal convictions
Must be 18 years old or older or 17 turning 18 within six months of the program start
