Once your application is reviewed and processed, more details will be sent to you by e-mail.
Students may earn only one transfer degree (Associate in Arts, Associate in Science) from Jefferson State.
Select a Degree Type and Program
The Associate in Arts and Associate in Science degrees are essentially planned sets of courses leading to baccalaureate degrees.
The Associate in Applied Science degree is comprised of requirements that prepare students to enter occupational, semi-professional, or paraprofessional employment. It is designed to be completed in two years rather than to constitute the first two years of a four-year program.
Certificate programs of one year or less of study are designed for students who wish to obtain specific occupational skills.
A Certificate is formerly known as a Long Certificate or an Advanced Certificate. Certificate programs require 30-60 semester hours.
A Short-Term Certificate program requires 9-29 semester hours.

|
Submitting this application does not signify eligibility to graduate. We will contact you by e-mail when your graduation application is processed. Students are encouraged to apply 1-2 semesters in advance, but they are not permitted to participate in the Graduation Ceremony prior to the semester in which they fulfill final degree requirements.
One Graduation Ceremony is held each year. Students who earn a degree/certificate in the preceding Summer, Fall and current Spring semesters may participate in the Graduation Ceremony scheduled in May.
Once a degree or certificate is awarded, you will not be eligible for academic bankruptcy or course forgiveness on courses taken during and prior to the graduation term.
