The De’ Anthony Powell Future Leaders Scholarship was established to invest in the next generation of leaders who demonstrate character, resilience, and a commitment to making a meaningful impact in their communities. This scholarship moves beyond traditional academic measurements to recognize individuals who lead through real-life experiences, personal growth, and purpose-driven actions. The recipient of the De’Anthony Powell Future Leaders Scholarship may be awarded to one recipient for $500 or two recipients for $250 toward their college education.

Recipients are expected to give back within 12 months through mentorship, service, or community involvement. This reinforces the scholarship’s mission of creating a cycle of leadership and impact.
