Workshop Attendance

This year, we offer a special opportunity for teachers and chaperones to attend a workshop designed specifically for you in the cafeteria while your students are in their respective workshops. Please indicate if you plan to participate in the teacher/chaperone workshop or visit the designated area for you in the cafeteria:

Professional participants have a unique opportunity to join for two portions of the day’s events: the lunch with speed mentoring
and the afternoon think tank session.

During the lunch, professionals will be seated with student participants and will be given the chance to share their personal experiences
working in the field of information technology (IT) in a casual and organic setting. Professionals will be at a table for approximately
10 minutes before moving to the next table; you will have the opportunity to visit with students at three different tables during the
designated time period.

During the think tank session, professionals from across the Valley and from across the IT sectors will convene and collaborate through
facilitated discussions about how to strengthen the future talent pipeline into IT careers. This session fosters networking,
brainstorming, and a drive to become change makers within the continuously evolving and growing field.

Please let us know your plans:

I will join for the afternoon Think Tank session (Please arrive at 1:15 pm)

All participants MUST check the appropriate Photo Release box AND submit an Assumption of Risk form in order to attend Go Get IT.

I authorize the Maricopa Community Colleges (including its colleges and related entities) to photograph, video or quote me

and to use the photographs, videos or quotes for educational or promotional purposes in any type of media. The photographs,

videos, and quotes may not be used for profit without my express permission. I understand that I will not be paid or rewarded

for providing this authorization. I understand that by signing this release MCCCD will own the photo/video/quote. Whole quotes

may not be used and may be edited by MCCCD.
