Financial Aid
|
Lakeshore College offers financial aid to those who qualify. Financial aid includes federal grants, work-study, and loans as well as state grants.
To determine eligibility, students must complete a Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA).
Many families mistakenly think they don't qualify for financial aid and fail to apply.
There are some sources of aid, such as unsubsidized Stafford and PLUS loans, that are available regardless of financial need.

Scholarships/Private Loans/Other
|
Personal loans through your banking institution, Sallie May, Discover, etc.
|
|
Payment Plan
|
A payment plan allows you to make installments on qualifying tuition of $200 or more.
Payments can be scheduled for automatic withdrawal or charged to a credit card (Visa or Mastercard) or manually made (there is an additional $25 fee if payments are made manually).

Agency Assistance/
Third Party Contract
|
Students must have a signed contract from an Authorized Agency or Third Party (Bay Area, TAA, VA Benefits, DVR, etc.) on file with Lakeshore's Billing Office.
|
|
Employer Reimbursement
|
Students must submit the Employer Reimbursement form and a copy of the employer's Tuition Reimbursement Policy must be on file with Lakeshore's Billing Office. There is a $50 fee per class down payment required for this option. The remaining balance is due 6 weeks after the class end date.
