Before submitting the Meritus Scholars Registration Form, please review the following information carefully:
By continuing with this form, you confirm that you are 60 years of age or older and understand that Meritus Scholars courses are taken on a non-credit, audit basis. You will not receive academic credit, grades, or a transcript for any course taken through the program. You also understand that you are not required to complete assignments or take exams, and that you will not be charged tuition or fees for participation.
The instructor is under no obligation and is never required to allow your participation in their classes. They may reject your request to join a class at any time for any reason. If a class is full, the instructor may also deny entry.
Please note that instructors are not required to grade or provide any feedback on any work submitted by Meritus Scholars participants. Instructors also have the right to require course readings and to deny or discontinue a participant’s entry into or participation in a class at any time. If you register for a world language course, you agree to follow the Department of World Languages guidelines and expectations. All Meritus Scholars participants are expected to follow the MSU Denver Student Code of Conduct while participating in classes.
Please also be aware that some classes are restricted and are not available through Meritus Scholars participation including:
- Courses with substantial fees
- Non-credit courses
- Correspondence courses
- Self-paced online (SPO) courses – the fees for SPO courses are around $1000
- Art Studio courses
- Communication Writing courses
- Dance Courses
- German – online courses
- Private Music Instruction
- Courses requiring a lab or specialized equipment, including restaurant (RST) and beverage management (BVG)
- Field courses
- Master’s degree courses

- On the following screen you will be asked to sign in using your MSU Denver email address and password.
- If you know your MSU Denver email address but are having trouble logging in, please contact MSU Denver IT support 24/7 at 303-352-7548.
- If you know your MSU Denver email address and password please confirm and proceed to the form by clicking on the button below. You will be asked to login using your entire MSU Denver email address and password (example: jdoe25@msudenver.edu - other personal email addresses will not work) after which you can proceed with Meritus Scholars registration.
