When can I apply for graduation and what are the deadlines?

- Missed the deadline? Contact Admissions & Records immediately. Late applications may be considered case-by-case.
How do I check the status of my graduation application?
After submitting your application, it will be evaluated by our Evaluations team. Need an update? Submit your question below with your Student ID.
When will I receive my diploma?
Diplomas are mailed within 4-6 weeks after your degree is posted. Need it sooner? Get an electronic version through Certree once awarded. Update your mailing address in myGateway.
How do I apply for multiple degrees or certificates?
Submit a separate application for each degree or certificate, including multiple degrees in the same area or both AS and AS-T degrees.
What documents do I need to submit?
You may need official transcripts (high school and college), AP/CLEP scores, or military transcripts. Visit the Graduation page for details. Not sure what's on file? Submit an inquiry below.
How do I request ADT verification for Cal State applications?
After applying for graduation, ensure all documents are on file. Once awarded, your ADT appears on your official transcript and Cal State universities are notified. Check your unofficial transcript in myGateway for status updates.
How do I request a GE Certification (CAL-GETC, CSU GE, or IGETC)?
Log into Certree, click "Request my documents," select Fullerton College, choose GEC/IGETC Certification, select your type (CAL-GETC, CSU GE, or IGETC), and select recipient institution(s). Processing takes up to 7 days. Note: Certifications only sent to 4-year institutions. For eligibility questions, see a counselor.
Do I qualify for a degree?
Meet with a counselor to review degree requirements and verify coursework completion.
How do I obtain a certificate?
Complete a graduation application—certificates aren't automatic. Each department issues their own certificates. Contact your academic department for requirements.
