Women in Welding Program Information*
August 7, 2024: Mandatory Orientation
Time: 10:00 am - 12:30 pm
Location: St. Clair County Head Start
August 14, 2024 - November 24, 2024: Women in Welding Class
Tuesdays and Thursdays: Welding Training
Time: *9:00 am - 12 pm
Location: Jefferson State Welding Center, Pell City Location
Wednesday: Math for Welders and Job Skills Training
(Math competencies required of welders will be taught and reviewed.)
Time: *10:00 am - 1:30 pm
Location: St. Clair County Head Start
*Times and dates are subject to change.
Note: Career Coaching appointments and **OSHA training required outside of class times.
**Students will be required to attend 10 hours of additional OSHA 10 Safety Training. The OSHA 10 Safety Training is scheduled outside of the scheduled class hours. Students will be informed about the schedule with enough time to adjust outside commitments.

I understand that I may be required to travel to the Jefferson St. Clair campus for class, workshops, study labs, career counselor appointments or to use the computer lab during times outside of class time.
