Front Desk Clerk – Tutoring Services

$14.50-$18.00 DOE
Work Schedule
Up to 24 hours a week
Monday – Friday (Hours May Vary)
Job Summary
Employees are responsible for assisting students, staff, faculty, and community members, and provide general clerical assistance. This includes (but is not limited to) answering phones, logging students in and out of TracCloud, and directing customer traffic.
Essential Functions
- Performs reception duties; greets visitors and answers routine questions; receives and refers calls; takes and relays messages; may serve as central point for telephone contact
- Assists students and the general public by answering questions, providing schedule information and directions to other areas on campus
- Adheres to applicable policies and procedures
- Performs other duties as assigned
Minimum Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED are preferred
- Experience providing effective and courteous customer service
Desired Qualifications
- Experience performing basic clerical duties such as typing, filing and answering phones
- Basic knowledge of Google Meet, Google Drive (Sheets, Docs, Slides, Forms, Calendar) and TracCloud
- Effective written and verbal communication skills
- Knowledgeable in maintaining highly confidential materials
- Ability to maintain accurate records
