Educational Opportunity Program (EOP)
Supplemental application for EOP admission

Thank you for your interest in the Educational Opportunity Program at Niagara County Community College. For full consideration, we must receive this application, completed and signed, before we can review your eligibility for EOP. Mail completed form to the Educational Opportunity Program Office, Niagara County Community College, and 3111 Saunders Settlement Road, Sanborn, NY 14132. All required income documentation must be received before a final EOP program admission decision is made. In order for a student to be considered for EOP he/she must meet both academic and financial criteria as well as attend and complete the mandatory EOP summer program. Students accepted into EOP who do not complete the EOP summer program will not be in the EOP program. Nevertheless, students must demonstrate academic promise.
New York State Requirements
- You must be a first semester college freshman to apply
- You must be a New York State resident for at least 12 months
- You must have a high school average in our acceptable range (70-80)
- If you do not have a high school diploma, you must have a General Equivalency Diploma (GED)
- Must meet the income eligibility
- Must attend and complete the mandatory summer program
Required Documents (as they pertain to your family’s income)
Provide the following documents that pertain to you to verify personal and/or family income.
- High School Transcript
- Financial Aid Tax Transcript (1040 tax form)
- Federal form 4506 verification of non-filing status
- Copy of Social Security, Supplemental Security Income Benefits
- Public Assistance/Department of Social Services Income Benefits (Budget Sheets)
- Unemployment benefits/Disability benefits statement
- Notarized letters, statements of income received, or statement of unusual circumstances
Applicants are encouraged to use the IRS retrieval process when completing the FAFSA application for Pell and request a Tax Transcript from the IRS for students and parents.

INCOME GUIDELINES
The table below lists financial eligibility requirements for EOP admission for students entering the 2024-25 academic year. Any subsequent changes to these guidelines will be posted here. In order to be determined economically disadvantaged, a student's household income must not exceed the amount shown for its size or the student's circumstances must conform to one of the exceptions indicated.
