Georgia Southwestern State University has a limited number of fee waivers for out-of-state applicants, who have outstanding academic profiles. To be considered for a waiver, students must submit an application form to the Office of Admissions by May 31st of each year.
In order to be considered for the academic waiver or international waiver, students must meet the following criteria:
- Maintain a competitive institutional GPA;
- Maintain full-time enrollment (12 or more credits);
- Show adequate progress towards completion of a degree program;
- Participate in school and community activities. Students should provide a detailed description (150 word minimum) of each category below in order to qualify for the Presidential Waiver;
- Provide proof of lawful presence to the Office of Admissions.
