*Lead Designer and Assistant Designer Position Requirement Note:

Design staff positions require designers to have experience with InDesign. In order to apply for Lead or Assistant Designer positions, those interested should have completed any of the following courses:

VCOM 2950 - Visual Communication Applications
VCOM 3930 - Visual Storytelling for Journalism
IAM 3060 - Writing for Interactive Experiences

If you have completed any of these courses, please include this information in the related experience section above.

If you are interested in either Lead Designer or Assistant Designer positions and have experience with InDesign from a source other than above listed courses, please explain:

Staff expectations include attending staff meetings, soliciting submissions, completing online submission review/grading, participating in selection of submissions, editing selected submissions, and review/editing final proof.

All staff poisitions are on a strictly volunteer basis. Staff members with at least a 3.0 overall GPA may request a permit to register for UH 3001 course credit. Contact Collage@mtsu.edu for further questions.
