Y-ExCL Summer - Intro to Accounting for DMACC Urban's Career Academy
The Y-ExCL Summer program is partnering with the DMACC Urban Campus to connect 10 rising Juniors and Seniors to the Intro to Accounting class that is a prerequisite for the Accounting Career Academy. This will be a chance to enroll in a fully paid DMACC class that is geared for students who have an interest in the Accounting field. Y-ExCL will pay for all hours that are invested into finishing the 3-credit 10-week course, Intro to Accounting. Again, this is a FREE all expenses paid DMACC class that can be used to pursue the Accounting Career Academy at DMACC Urban or transferred to a Business Administration Major at a 4-year college/university. This class will enable students to enter into the Accounting Academy for High School Students in the Fall Term at Urban Campus.
Classes will be held at DMACC Southridge Center with an instructor onsite. Classes will start on Wednesday, May 25th. Classes will be held on Mondays & Wednesdays from 5:00pm - 6:30pm. There will be open office hours with a Teaching Assistant offered for all students.
